Tens of thousands of innocent dogs and cats are
euthanized daily, one of the nation’s greatest tragedies in the
domestic animal world, simply because there are too many pets and no
one to adopt them. In the United States, the leading cause of
death for both dogs and cats, is euthanasia. Pet over-population
is unacceptable and is best addressed with low-cost sterilization
programs. Animals Abused & Abandoned has an opportunity to
take an important step to decrease the number of surplus and unwanted
pets by providing supplemental funding for low cost spay/neuter
programs among several rescue groups we work with.
With a mild winter, spring has arrived a bit early this year. Puppies and kittens are already streaming into shelters . We have been inundated with spay-neuter funding requests in the past month. We look forward to being part of a program that will have a meaningful impact on this terrible overpopulation tragedy.
We could easily spend $20,000 on these programs in the
next 30 days if we had the means. We are reaching out to our
donors for help.
Please search your hearts and help us stop generations of
suffering by
not adding to the pet overpopulation.
